The Role
The Product Specialist is responsible for the operational support, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Oracle Fusion cloud platform. The role will have a primary focus on ERP (and exposure to HCM and EPM).
This role ensures that the Oracle Fusion cloud platform operates reliably, securely and efficiently supporting critical finance, people and corporate processes across the organisation. The Product Specialist works closely with business users, vendors and technical teams to manage incidents, coordinate upgrades, test changes and deliver enhancements that improve system performance and user experience.
The team
APRA’s Technology team delivers, maintains, and enhances essential information technology services that support the organisation's productivity, strategic objectives, and business unit priorities.
Technology partner with stakeholders to design, implement and maintain IT solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and ensuring these are secure and aligned with APRA’s technology architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support and operational management of the Oracle Fusion cloud platform
Manage incidents, service requests and defects, working with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly
Coordinate upgrades, patches and configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities to streamline and digitise processes
Support integrations between Oracle Fusion, M365 and other enterprise applications
Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials and guidance to support adoption
Monitor system performance and identify risks and improvement opportunities
Plan and support testing activities, including functional, regression and user acceptance testing
About You
We’re looking for someone who is curious, customer-focused and motivated to improve how enterprise platforms support business outcomes.
Proven experience in a Product Specialist, Application Support Analyst or similar role within a complex organisation.
Deep, hands‑on expertise in ERP Cloud. Expertise in HCM and EPM is highly desirable
Understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms, release cycles, patching and vendor‑led upgrades.
Experience managing production incidents, service requests and enhancements using tools such as ServiceNow.
Experience planning and performing functional, regression and user acceptance testing.
Ability to analyse issues, coordinate resolutions and communicate clearly with technical teams, vendors and business users.
Strong customer service mindset with a focus on reliability, usability and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery approaches and collaboration tools.
