The role
The Senior Organisational Development (OD) Partner (12 month contract opportunity) works closely with executives and key stakeholders to develop enterprise-wide people and culture programs that address both current and future organisational requirements. Responsibilities include designing and implementing comprehensive OD initiatives that support APRA’s corporate objectives and advance APRA’s desired culture and workforce.
The team
The Chief of Staff and Enterprise Services (ChES) division of APRA is integral to the organisation, ensuring strategic alignment, effective communication, and robust governance. The Learning & Organisational Development team is part of the broader People & Culture (P&C) team and focuses on developing strategies that enhance the employee experience, from compensation to leadership, engagement, inclusion, capability development and performance.
Key responsibilities
Partner with executive management and key stakeholders to develop comprehensive people and culture initiatives at the enterprise level.
Design and implement organisational development (OD) programs that address APRA’s diverse needs while proactively anticipating future workforce requirements aligned to strategic objectives.
Embed effective talent management practices across all levels.
Drive cultural transformation initiatives to support organisational growth and employee engagement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create and deliver targeted initiatives that promote continuous development and engagement of teams and individuals.
Oversee the design, delivery, analysis of employee surveys, providing actionable insights; and
Ensure all organisational development solutions are aligned with APRA’s strategic direction, reinforce APRA’s values, and contribute to achieving the corporate plan.
About you
Extensive experience in the design, delivery and measurement of organisational development initiatives, including experience in cultural transformation, performance frameworks and contemporary talent management strategy and practice.
Proven record of coaching and influencing senior leaders and teams.
Expertise in behavioural facilitation, consulting, and performance coaching.
Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced use of organisational and individual diagnostic tools.
Ability to analyse data for informed decision-making.
Project and change management proficiency.
