The Role
We have an opportunity for a Senior End-User Services Engineer to implement Intune.
This role will give you the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain the Standard Operating Environment for APRA’s iPhone fleet, Surface Pros, as well performing Level 3 support to end-users.

The End-User Services team is a small team of highly motivated and skilled individuals who care passionately about providing the best computing experience for our internal users.
Key accountabilities and outcomes
- As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies and standards that will improve the ability of IT to provide a robust, high performing end user computing environment for APRA;
- Development of and adherence to standards, ensuring all documentation is maintained or developed where necessary, providing regular maintenance and support functions on systems within a large geographical area and some after-hours work to ensure continued availability;
- Coach and develop junior EUS engineers and service desk technical staff to provide high quality, effective service to APRA;
- What your typical day will look like;
- Secure, implement and maintain APRA’s Phone SOE and any installed applications;
- Secure, implement and maintain APRA's desktop SOE (Windows 10 and later) and any installed applications;
- Patch and configure the End-user ecosystem with Microsoft Endpoint/Configuration Manager, Group Policy, and ensure vulnerability compliance with Qualys;
- Participate in fault detection, performance monitoring, general systems management, and timely resolution of systems issues in relation to Windows systems, acting as a point of escalation for APRA's EUS systems;
- Produce relevant artefacts associated with changes to the system in ServiceNow;
- Work within approved Enterprise Security policies and actively maintain and uplift overall cyber risk posture of EUS systems; and
- Support Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
About you
- Proven experience as an End-User Computing Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Windows 10 (or later) and Office 365 technologies;
- Strong technical skills in Windows and application configuration and deployment (Microsoft Endpoint/Configuration Manager, Intune and Group Policy) and software packaging (e.g. Windows Installer, APPX);
- Scripting experience (PowerShell essential, VBScript desirable); and
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and information systems security policies and procedures, such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Knowledge of mitigation methods (e.g. Microsoft Defender Attack Surface Reduction, AppLocker).
You Must be an Australian Citizen with eligibility to obtain a Baseline Security clearance
